Denver Broncos fantasy football tips for the 2022 season

It’s football season, which means it’s time for your fantasy football drafts. Time to take a look at the Denver Broncos roster and who will help you dominate

August is upon us and football is right around the corner, which means it’s almost time for your fantasy football drafts.

In recent seasons, it was best to avoid the Denver Broncos on your rosters as the offense failed to produce runs in real life as well as in fantasy. The arrival of Russell Wilson, however, reversed the trend.

Not only did Wilson bring excitement to Mile High City, but the Denver Broncos’ fantastic vision as well. The Broncos’ wide receivers are suddenly a high priority on draft days and running backs should look to be even more successful than an already productive 2021 season.

All in all, the Broncos seem to play a big role in winning the Fantasy Championships.

I’ll break down every fantasy-relevant player and what their value is based on where they’re drafted.

As a member of the fantasy football community and Broncos Country, I am very happy to help you win your championships.

Russell Wilson

Average Draft Position – Round 8

Average QB Ranking – QB 9

The Denver Broncos haven’t had a fantasy-relevant quarterback since 2014, when Peyton Manning threw for 39 touchdowns.

Since then, having a Broncos quarterback on your roster hasn’t been a good idea. Russell Wilson is here to change that way of thinking.

In his first 10 seasons, Wilson finished in the top 12 fantasy quarterbacks every year but one (last year when he suffered a finger injury).

Four of those years he finished in the top three, finishing number one in 2017. You’re almost guaranteed to be in the top 10 with Wilson.

His consistency, Nathaniel Hackett’s willingness to let him lead the offense and the strong group of weapons around him once again put a ceiling in the top three.

So far, with him relatively late, Wilson is of tremendous value to you in your drafts. You won’t have to spend on any of these premium picks like you will for guys like Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, and Justin Herbert, but you do get a very similar benefit.

As long as you’re not in a draft with a ton of Broncos fans, having him in the eighth round not only seems likely but smart. Build your running backs and wide receivers first and always be dependable to Russ.
