Bring her back: Jamie Foxx opened up about encouraging Cameron Diaz to return to the screen during an interview with Entertainment Tonight that was published earlier this week.

Foxx began the interview by expressing how much he admired Diaz and the success he achieved over the course of his career.

‘Cameron is an incredible force and has done a lot in this business. We love her,’ she claimed.

The Django Unchained star went on to note that he asked the actress a simple question during the negotiation process.

She remembered asking him, “Do you want to have some fun? Just have fun! And I think that’s what led her to it.

Foxx subsequently stated that he considered Diaz’s return to acting to be particularly significant.

‘Sometimes we miss special moments in our business, and I think this is a special moment. So we’re really glad it’s happening and we’re looking forward to it,” he said.

The Academy Award-winning actor noted, however, that he had to get creative in how he convinced the actress to return to her old career.

“We had to be very innovative in the way that we, you know, brought her back,” he said.
