Region 10 football schedule and games to watch this fall

Region 10 kicks off its football season in less than a week, with reigning Region 10 champion Desert Hills looking to repeat after last year’s astonishing run to a regional title.

The Thunder kick off the regular season Thursday on the road to Brighton, while all other teams start their season on Friday.

Play in the area begins the first weekend in September, with Dixie having the day off that week.

The following week, the defending Flyers 4A finalist plays in the open region against Pine View.

Here’s every team’s schedule in 2022, including a game to circle on your calendar for each week.

The Reds have won three in a row since 2019. Canyon View last beat Cedar 27-14 in 2018.

The Crimson Cliffs offense returns with four of five starters from a year ago and is one of the most experienced position groups in the area.

game to watch

10/7 @ Dixie

The Mustangs have a tough schedule for the first five games of their season and the new defense will be tested early and often. But the season-ending clash against Dixie is one to watch. The Flyers battled their way to a nasty 16-10 victory last season.
