It’s a great time to be a Daredevil fan. We are approaching the fourth anniversary of RecklessNetflix’s third and final season, but luckily for fans of Charlie Cox’s Man Without Fear, is making a triumphant return. After his cameo appearance as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home late last year, Cox will appear in full Daredevil attire during She-Hulk: Lawyer. This revelation was added at the end of the she-hulk trailer that premiered at San Diego Comic-Con, but Disney+ has shared the first full look at Cox in his vigilante outfit for the Marvel TV show.
For those who missed the last She-Hulk: Lawyer trailer, Daredevil was seen jumping in front of Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters in her Hulked-out form, and then we got a quick close-up of his costume. The preview ended before we could see Charlie Cox’s masked face, but the Disney+ Twitter Page now he has proven it. Check it out:
If you’re on Twitter, you’ve probably noticed a trend lately where four images are put together to form a full image, but if you click on each individual, you’ll find that they’re vertically hiding smaller images. In the case of this Disney + she-hulk In the post, the first three images that make up the show’s logo show Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner/Hulk, Tim Roth’s Emil Blonsky/Abomination, and Benedict Wong’s Wong, and when we get to the fourth image, the smaller top image shows Charlie Cox’s Daredevil on top of a car, and the smaller bottom image is what you see above. While we know for a fact that Jennifer Walters will be meeting Matt Murdock disguised as a vigilante, it also sounds like these two will be spending time together in civilian life, as Tatiana Maslany described them as “best friends.”
As far as this Daredevil costume goes, for the most part, it looks like the one Charlie Cox started wearing in the Reckless season 1 finale, and in season 2 and defenders, only to have to abandon him in Season 3 when Wilson Bethel’s Benjamin Poindexter began killing people in his own Daredevil suit as part of Wilson Fisk’s plan to ruin Matt Murdock’s life. However, there is one key difference from Daredevil’s costume that we’ll see in She-Hulk: Lawyer: Yellow/gold has been incorporated throughout the suit, reminiscent of the yellow and red suit Matt Murdock wore in his early comic book appearances before adopting the all-crimson look. Thanks to this entire Disney+ look, we know that the helmet will also have a lighter color scheme, although the lighting in this particular scene makes it hard to tell how bright the yellow/gold color will be.
We’ll have to wait and see how Matt Murdock specifically fits into the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law picture, but the good news is that there’s a lot more Daredevil action on the way in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In early July, Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio were confirmed to appear on the Echo Serie; D’Onofrio made his big comeback as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in Hawk Eye last year. Next, both actors will star Daredevil: Born Againwhich got an 18-episode order for its first season and is reportedly being written by undercover affairs duet Matt Corman and Chris Ord. born again It’s expected to premiere in early 2024 as part of the MCU’s Phase Five slate.
