UCLA football was back for more fall camp action on Saturday, providing further insight into the status of the team’s personnel with the season opener just a month away. There was more to watch than just who was or wasn’t available, however, with the media closely scrutinizing Ken Norton Jr. running drills with inside linebackers.

The former All-American, Super Bowl champion and NFL defensive coordinator was the most entertaining to watch working spring camp, and that continued through the summer and into the fall. . The way he spoke to players during forced breakaway drills and block removal drills was insightful and engaging from a third-party perspective, and linebackers seem to learn pretty well from him.
