WATCH: Tony Elliott and players recap first UVA football practice

The Virginia football team officially began fall camp on Wednesday night, bringing together the entire roster for the first full team practice of the year as players returned from injuries and transfers and the first years were taking part in training for the first time.

After the first day of practice, head coach Tony Elliott answered questions from the media. Elliott recapped the first practice, talking about the notable presence of transfers and the first years participating in their first UVA football practice, proof of the hard work of strength and conditioning coach Adam Smotherman, the state of the offensive line, the fast-paced nature of practice and the work that remains to be done.
